KAGAEKANPO boutique
"Inside Head" seen by a consultant specializing in Chinese medicine
2024.09.26
This is the rough hair of the KAGAEKANPO boutique Ueno store.
I just saw "Inside Head 2" at TOHO Cinemas Ueno the other day.
How will your favorite previous work continue?…I looked forward to seeing it, but Pixar, I can't betray you. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it.
I also saw "Inside Head" at Disney Plus, but when I looked again, I was impressed that this would not match Chinese medicine's way of thinking.
How does it match? If you are interested, please contact me for a long time.
◼︎ The outline of the story
The movie starts with the birth of the protagonist's daughter Riley.
With her birth, Yorokobi (ki) is born, and Kanashimi (sorrow) is born a little late.
In addition, with growth, emotions of Ikari (angry), Mukakaka (think), and Bibili (fear) are born. Their five emotions, led by Yorokobi, struggle every day for her growth and happiness in the control room in her head.
Now, the five emotions can be applied to the five aspirations of the Five Lines, an ancient Chinese philosophy that is the foundation of Chinese medicine.
Anger (Ikari), Ki (Yorokobi), Shi (Mukakaka), Sorrow (Kanashimi), Fear (Bibili)
It is said that if each of them is too strong or too weak, they lose their balance, and if one emotion comes too much, it will have a negative effect on our body.
◼What kind of body influences emotions?
I'm angry.…If you are too angry, you will get upset and get frustrated, headache, red eyes, etc.
Kinokuraki…If you are too happy, you will loosen your mind, stop laughing, and if you are terrible, you will be disturbed and faint. It may be easy to understand if you are too happy and lose your mind.
Shiseikitsu…If you are too worried, you will get clogged and lose appetite, chest and stomach, indigestion, etc. Isn't there a lot of people who are hungry when they are stressed and worried?
Sadness…If you are too sad, you lose your mind, you don't want to talk, you're tempted, you're shy, and so on.
I'm afraid…If you are too afraid, you will feel down, incontinence, hair loss, bone fragile, energy loss, etc.
In the story of "Inside Head",
It is drawn close-up with joy (Yorokobi) and sad (Kanashimi), and this relationship perfectly matches the feelings of Chinese medicine.
◼How does the joy try to suppress the sadness?
In the five lines of Chinese medicine, the five organs and Goshi are linked. If only one emotion is protruded, it is not good for the function of the body (five organs), so there is a relationship called "sokoku" in which other emotion suppresses.
Below is the relationship.
Ongachi fear, Mukamka beat Bibili
Radly, Kanashimi beats Ikari.
Katsuki, Bibili beat Yorokobi.
Anger, anger beat Mukamkah
Good luck, Yorokobi is better than Kanashimi
Conflict relationship is not a bad combination, and the other balances with "More, let's go around" so that one does not come out too much.
Excessive emotions become stressful and have a direct negative effect on the internal organs, so Yorokobi was trying to suppress the canasimi.
It’s not good to just try to limit your emotions too much.
In the story, that area is well portrayed, and in the scene where each other's emotions are reconciliated, I always feel moved and tears.
Emotions are natural to have everything.
When you are sad, when you are happy, when you are angry, when you are angry.
Not only do we follow our emotions, but we can also choose our emotions.
Objectively judge which emotions are in your head right now, and if you have feelings that are not in line with your will, why not stop and control your emotions?
When I have feelings that are not in line with my will, I think of the character of the story saying, "Ikari is in my head now," and control my emotions, "Let's borrow a little bit of Kanashimi."
When you are frustrated, you can relax and immerse yourself in a sentimental feeling, or if you have too much sadness, raise your mouth a little and try doing what you like.
In "Inside Head 2", which is currently being screened, a new character will appear with the feeling of Shinpai (anxiety) Inner (jealousy), Hazukashi (shame) Darry (lazy). How will the story proceed with the addition of new emotions ... This is a fun to watch!
By the way, Chinese medicine's idea is to add "sorrow" and "surprise" to five emotions and add the idea of seven emotions. The idea of the Seven Things is at some point.
[Good news]
